Hey..a fello not too far from me has 72 or 73 Rivi for parts. Minus motor/trans but full interior including console and buckets, power windeers, radidio, etc. Problem is, he wants $1700 for the rolling shell. I offered him $800 over a year ago. yup... its still sitting in his yard and the condition is getting werser by the day. ARE there any other parts you need to perhaps make an offer more plausable? My dad has a console i can see if he would be interested in selling. He dyed the buckets and put them in a skylark. Let me get back to you
thx guys, i will be waiting. as for the rotting 73? i will make a list, good idea, but what state? thx vito
i lifted up the fabric on the park avenue bucket seat driver side and the foam itself is about 7 inches thick all the rest was that poly stuff found in pillows
Yo VITO~! That 73 Rivi for parts (complete minus motor & trans) is still sitting in the doods yard... I was in a tropical torrential downpour so I didnt get out of my truck, but I know he still has it. DID you make up a list of stuff you need? IF you are interested in Rivi parts, console, seats, tilt wheel etc, you can send me a direct email and we'll discuss some options, K? PenWheelz2@ij.net Wheelz, Tampa Bay

Here are a few pix of the 1973 Rivi doscussed above in post #s 5, 9, 12 & 13: FACT: this Rivi DOES HAVE A rebuilt 455!!! Was a running/driving car up till 2004 or so... (the old guy I talked to a year ago was obviously misinformed about no motor or trans...maybe he was just kidding me?? o No Question: Is a 12 BOLT rear end TYPICAL for a Rivi??? If it works out, I could quite possibly be posting this car in the classifieds as soon as VITO responds to my emails regarding console, buckets & tilt steering wheel package....:Smarty: GET IN LINE FOR PARTS FELLAS!! Yo Vito! I HAVE CONSIDERED saving the 455 motor BUT ONLY AFTER I hear it running.... I have some difficulty actually deciphering TRUTH from this father/son team. First there was NO ENGINE TRANNY.. then there IS! Then it hasnt run in a few months according to the son.....to find out the DAD says its been in the back yard since 2009... thats a 3 YEAR difference! ..and when asked about a title... son sez: "HE HAS IT!" Dad sez "seems it is nowhere to be found"... ? So. As it stands at this point, I am not certain I want to move in any direction until THEY get it running. $1700 for a parts Rivi isnt really my idea of a good deal . . UNLESS, perhaps, I actually hear this thing run...:TU: HANG IN! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
