So please bare with me here folks as i have kind of a odd question
Im building a 1973 Apollo to represent a what if type of car
It will have a 455 installed with correct year model part number block, heads, intake ,twin snorkel gs air cleaner etc
Does anyone know what the corect type paint colors would have been that year for the firewall, non a/c heater box(glossier i assume than the firewall as well as the air cleaner was glossier too?)
Also what color was the booster?
What type of hose clamps(heater core, block side of heater hose, bypass, booster, radiator, etc)would this year have had
basically loookig to reproduce it as close as poss to what a bbgs in 73 would have looked like
i realize nothing is truly correct in thios instance, but i want it as close to correct in my eye as possible
    Thanks

The firewall would have been satin black leaning more towards the flatish side. The air cleaner and Non AC boxes that I have seen from the era were all gloss black. Not a bit gloss but Glossy!!! The other stuff you need a 73 expert. Find an assembly manual for 73 that will show clamp types. I would bet they used towers on the radiator and heater hoses.
