1973 Buick Century parts

    Hi there,

    I own a very original 1973 Buick Century 2-Door that needs some TLC (in its original coat of "Green Gold" paint). I am chasing the following:

    1) RHS Quarter panel end cap
    2) RHS Rear tail-light, complete assembly. Chasing the Gran Sport version (have already purchased the LHS unit)
    3) Rear bumper fillers - mine are ok, but are a bit bleached and distorted from the sun, so am wondering if there are some nicer versions out there....
    4) LHS Quarter panel bottom - looking for a good rust free off cut, to include trunk drop off also, as my car needs rust repairs in this area (will post a photo also)
    5) Seats - my car has the ivory interior, vinyl/cloth mix (will also post some pix). Prefer the tougher all-vinyl Gran Sport style. Anything out there?

    Lastly, did the '73 Century have a non-rubber insert bumper available? My car's bumper has the black rubber inserts, together with the big over-riders which I am not a fan off. If anyone has a rear bumper without all the rubber fluff, I am interested. Shipping address is in NC, thanks.

    Also, the following parts would be nice:

    i) Gran Sport grill
    ii) Gran Sport headlight bezel
    iii) Rear anti-roll bar, with mounting hardware
    to name a few...

    There was (past tense) a pair of 75's in the east El Paso U pull it a while back - maybe could have supplied some of your needs. Did not buy much off either (due to difficulty in selling such parts). Did pick up this original radio though, an AM/FM. I would try Rich Johns in Ontario and there was one, believe a true 73 GS being parted in the Chicago area.

    Sent a message to the lad in Chicago parting the '73 Gran Sport. Hopefully will get some parts for the old girl...

    Hi Aidan,

    Don't know if you're interested, but I have an original AM/FM radio from my old '73 Century Luxus sedan that was pulled (working) from the car back in (gulp!) 1985 or so and has been laying around in my garage ever since. Radio in post above is not for a '73; that one shows both dials all the time; the orig was a flip-dial, and had black push buttons & knobs. $50.- plus shipping? Let me know; it's just a paper weight right now.
