Hi, I need a good battery tray for an AC car from a 73-76 Buick b-body, wagons will work as well.
I am getting near the end of a 6 year restoration of my white 75 LeSabre vert and apparently the battery trays are different whether it is an AC car or not. I realize most will be rusted out but if one it out there it would be much appreciated!
    Cheers Robert

There is a 76 Le Sabre in a local yard. I will check its condition when I am out there this weekend.

the 73 Electra that just went to scrap had a good one, believe I sent you. So need another? On another point the same yard just got in a 79 Le Sabre and I did snag the upper a/c compressor belt guard. (350 buick 4 V) Believe you had said you needed one. Dave S.

Yes I did get one off the 73 Electra and after blasting, sanding, prepping and painting it is not the correct one.
The battery tray I need comes from an AC car and sits closer to the passenger fender leaving room for the AC hoses to the condenser
On the AC compressor belt guard I just bought one yesterday from seller 406 on Ebay sorry about that!
Thanks or all your help securing these parts

That '73 Electra was a 1. 455 car 2. Factory A/C. I don't see why A/C and non A/C would have different battery trays. A non A/C car in the B series - post '70 is a rare bird. A diesel would have had an extra tray on the drivers front corner, but I don't think diesels were offered until either '77 or '78 and all should have been Oldsmobile blocks.

My brown Buick doesn't have AC but the red one which is near perfect does and when we compared the battery trays with the white one the tray on the red LeSabre it sits farther into the passenger fender clearing up space for the AC hoses. All cars have the 455 I will see if I can get pictures over the weekend.
