$4500 is to much.. There's a hole in the roof..

I wish they would show the hole in the floor, that is what intrigues me. Don't recall ever seeing a factory 4 speed suncoupe.

I have a 455/4spd suncoupe but , it started life as a 350/th350. my guess is this one did too.

Let me get this correct. Someone let the car rust/deteriorate for decades then want an arm and a leg for it.

Anyway, the gentleman just states that its factory stick shift,it could be a 3 speed on the column.I don't see anything there that shows its 4 on the floor. But then again I don't have the knowledge you guy's have to go around and find things,Bruno.

Skylarks with the 'Sun Coupe' option were restricted to the Skylark power trains (and transmissions) including the Skylark Custom trim equipment (which might have been an automatic trans). There were GSs produced with the Sun Coupe option (just a handful) .... those could have had the power train options of a GS, i.e., manual floor shift transmissions.

4 speeds were only available in a GS. I suspect, like Bruno, this is a 3 on the tree

Try to get the VIN or a pic of the cowl data plate .... it will show how the car was built by Buick in terms of model.

I have read many places - including, as I recall, seeing an original 1972 Sklylark ad, that the Sun Coupe option was available on the Skylark 350 Sport Coupe sub-model which included the two-barrel 350 engine, three-speed manual transmission, bench seat, ornamentation, etc. For 1972, only V8 engines were offered in Skylarks - I have read that, too.

I think numbers confirm this suncoupe to be authentic and not a Clone...please please feel free to correct

3-speed manual transmission was standard but it was not a floor shift.

I attached a dealer order form showing the available package.

Did the Seller confirm a 3 speed manual on the column? Or, a stick shift on the floor (added by someone)? Maybe I missed it, but did someone confirm this before??? I know a factory manual on his model would be a column shift, but what does the Seller confirm?

3-Speed column shift, previous owner swapped out 3 on the tree to 3 on the floor
