I'm interested in doing a deal for this 72. (A trade for my 66) I've been talking to the dealer and since he can't find any numbers on the engine we are assuming it's not numbers matching or even necessarily a Stage 1 engine. Does anyone know anything about this car? If I do a deal it would be subject to inspection. Would anyone bew able to help me out by checking it out or letting me know who can? Check out this site: www.i-van.org They will charge you for a pre-purchase inspection. But they probably have someone in the area who could do it in short order. Better to pay a few $ up front than many $$$$$$ after you buy something your sorry about. In fact these guys are great for appraisals for your insurance company also.
