There's another one in Newcastle, WA. http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/2215704939.html 1972 Buick Skylark Suncoupe - $3500 (Newcastle) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: 2011-02-15, 9:20AM PST Reply to: see below -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1972 Buick Skylark Suncoupe RARE CLASSIC, needs finishing Please Call for details, Rick 425-235-8715 $3500
I can take a look. You should call first just to make sure it sounds worthy of a closer inspection. The one in Newcastle has been on CL for a long time. From the looks of it, it's been outside with the top missing for quite awhile. It also appears to be a salveage yard.
I could also look at it for you John if you call and it is what you are looking for. The guy in Newcastle has a couple of 70-72's in his backyard and lists them for sale every couple of months. Not very nice cars.
I'll call on them and get back. Neither appear to have roof sliders from the pics. I expect the primer one to be a driver from the ad. Thats the one in Kent. If someones close that would be great but I would not ask someone to drive 3 hours for a very questionable vehicle. For me I could car less if the engine runs well or if it needs interior or even a top. The main focus would be to find one that will run enough to get a reasonable price transport. And especially not a rust bucket.
I dont have time but it appears Jeff and Chris are on it, The red one in Newcastle Ive been driving by it for close to 10 years and it is sitting in his back yard out in the weather.
Thanks guys I am looking for a car that I can out together for a driver without breaking the bank. I am always giving advise to buy a car already done so I am also thinking hard about a members car here. I doubt I can duplicate it for less. Problem is its too damn nice to drive every day this summer. If it were more of a driver I would probably have bought it already
The primered suncoupe in kent is mine. I still have it, I only posted it for two weeks(when I needed some extra money) but if anyones interested I can post some pictures. I have it storage currently.
