    Welcome to the board,

Please put your name in your signature, we're on a friendly first name base here :TU:

    175 HP @ 3800 rpm, 270 Ft-lbs @ 2400 rpm.

But in 1972 they changed to SAE HP:

    No, sorry Andy.

Can't find any tests for a 1972 Skylark here, but I had a 1971 Skylark 350-4 up to 120 MPH without any trouble.

I'm sure there are people on this board who can help you further with your question.

Estimated stock quarter mile speed will be in the 80 -90 mph range.

that sounds right, my friend tristan just bought one and seems to think it has 250hp, does 0-60 in 6 seconds and does the 1.4 in 14.1 seconds.

High 15's are likely if everthing is in perfect tune. somewhere in the 7's for 0-60. 120 sounds about right for top speed.

    1/4 time

I have a 72 Skylark, but the engine is a 69 350, origanally a 2brl, but now has a 4brl intake and carb but the rest is stock including exhaust manifolds. My besttime is a15.720@86.57mph :3gears: thanks to advice from the board on different things. I think i can try to tweak a little more though.
