Other than not having the Tri-Shield, how can you determine the correct mirror for 1972? Is there a part #? Can't find it in the archives and need info sort of quickly. Thanks in advance!
This was for the chrome passenger side mirror for 1972 Skylark. Trying to verify if I've found the correct part. Thanks again for your help!
Just curious, although not correct for 1972,is the '70 mirror the same fit & function? Just thought you might know & since I have your attention. Thanks Jim
Yes a 70 RH will bolt right up but as you know it is not the same number and it has the tri shield engraved on the back.
That's what I thought. Just waiting on a reply from a friend. He has (or says he has) a few stashed in his attic. It will be a nice addition in the end. Even thought I know there is nothing there, I am always looking to see if there is someone coming up from the rear due to having a passenger side mirror on my other car and past Buicks........ Thanks for your help on this.
Looks like these are for a different year. Would you happen to know what these part #'s belong to? 60376-401 60385-401 Thanks alot!
Stephen, Casting # 60376-401 is the same number that is in the base of my 1970 LH non-remote TRI-Shield mirror. Casting # 60385-401 is the same number that is in the base of my 1970 RH TRI-Shield mirror. Scott
Thanks Scott. Is it possible that these casting #'s came on a non Tri-shield as well? He says they don't have the shield and that they came from a 72 Skylark.... Do you think fit and function would be the same....... Thanks in advance, Stephen
