I'm looking for a good front passengers side wheel well for a 1972 gs. From the post I've read the 71/72 are different than the 70?
YaButt, not much different. One such difference is 70 has a tri-angular EMBOSSED area where a cruise control module would mount... 71-72 has a somewhat 'flat surface' on that area... another is the washer bottle hangs on the fender for 71-72 and 70 mounts onto the IFW so there will be holes... Here is one of the best I've come across, been parting these GM A bodies since 1985. From a 1972 Utah car that came to Arizona, its 175.00 plus shipping, cheaper to send it with Greyhound bus lines then Fed ex which is much higher.
update: I have a patch panel for the inner fender where the battery would sit so if you have one that's rotted out I can still use it and patch it. I'd rather try to drive and pick it up do the over expensive shipping cost. let me know if you have one that needs fixed and where you are located. thanks
