Geoff, Have you checked with thepartsplace.com? They rechrome bumpers for $279 plus $150 Core. If you don't have the core it's $429 outright. They have front and rears for a 70 so I'd give them a shot for your 72. Maybe you could get a good core for a rechrime off this board and have it direct shipped to them. THE RECHROME SHOPS STRAIGHTEN THE DAMAGED BUMPERS!!!!!!! Most people are throwing away bent up bumpers and they are most likely good cores.
ill try the parts place the only problem is that i live in hawaii and the shipping is outragous, anything that comes out here it will probably be cheaper to buy a new and pay shippping once. thanks for the info aloha geoff
