Where do I find these? Everyone I see says 67-71...?

Not sure the difference but '72 is a different part # vs. '68-71 (at least for 4BBL). I'm looking for a super nice orig. or NOS earlier one.

I have a couple of cables on bench, I’ll take some pics when I get back to shop

I know they have a different part number but I to think the 68-71 version will work. . . .

I haven't tried one but I'd be interested in know the results.

IF you purchase a new one from me (if you don't fine one anywhere else) I'd be willing to pay for return shipping IF it didn't work. Just a thought . . . . .

That's the spirit! - Thanks Todd. If it doesn't work, lmk & maybe I'll take it assuming it'd be discounted. I have an NOS one here & would like to compare them anyway.

I didn't even know a repro was made but I generally ignore repro stuff except as a last resort. Not because I don't want to buy it or because I'd rather use a nice used or NOS part, but because the vendors have screwed up so many parts that now I don't trust any of it. Then they wonder why they can't sell enough Buick parts so they don't make more. It's a vicious circle.

Since you now have a direct line to someone presumably higher up at many of these companies & I know how particular you are, please implore them to make the stuff correctly and even in the case of existing parts to re-work them to be correct. Even if it costs 50% more to get the details correct it'd be worth it & would still kill the price of NOS. I'm sure they look at marginal sales vs. a perceived optimal selling price but I'm sure they'd make more $ in the end by making it correctly and selling it @ a higher price.
