Looking for a remote/divorced choke set up for a 1972 455 stock intake with correct Rochester carb. Thanks, Bruce
i got one for my 350 w/ ta intake from taperformance I believe they had one for stock manifolds as well
Bruce, I don't have an extra, but I looked for a part number on mine and couldn't find it. I looked it up in the service manual, and it looks like all 455 cars (Stage 1, non-Stage 1, California, and non-California) with an automatic trans had a 7042190 choke assembly. Manual trans 455 cars had a 7042191, but would not be correct for your car. It will have three mounting bolt holes, unlike the 70 (1 hole) and 71 (two holes) choke assemblies. It should also have a separate metal tray that fits down in the intake and requires a gasket to prevent an exhaust leak. Good luck.
