1972 Rear Bumper Buick Name Plate

    THIS IS AN UPDATE - I FOUND A NEW NAME PLATE SO I DON'T NEED THIS PART ANYMORE THANKS

    well schucks.... another lesson learned. I bought one sight unseen from CURT PARKER in Virginia... was supposed to be nearly perfect. not. this one has pitting and gouges and is basically about the same condition as the one I already have. :af: AaaaaRrGgh. SO I am out $15 and still looking.

    When you get the part can you pm me with the quality of it. I was thinking of having mine referbished, but at $39 = shipping... Just had the rear bumper rechromed so I want a nise shiney badge on her:Brow:

    well...it arrived. and it is definitely a repopped part in all its repopped glory. It IS much nicer than any factory original 40+ year old part I've recently seen. Yes, its shiney, its pitfree and clean letters...however its kinda 'wavy'. It looks nice on the bumper, however, I am not certain how well it will flatten out once permanently tightened on the bumper...

    Maybe I'm just being to critical. Dunno. Nothing like having nice, usable original parts whenever they are available. ..in this case, originals, PIT FREE and nice, were no where to be found I guess.

    My thinkin' is this new piece work out ok. :Brow:
