This is a stage two 455 out of a 72 wagon. The block has been decked, the casting leftovers around the lifter galley and the bottom side of the block have been removed. New Clevite hardened cam bearings have been installed. The crank is the original factory Nodular forging. The rods are factory but have been shot peened, polished, balanced and ARP fasteners where installed.* The Pistons are Ross forged flat tops with valve reliefs. The assembly was balanced by Watts and Ruple machine in Ohio. ** I've had the block cleaned and honed to fit the Pistons. The cylinders where honed using the proper stones for the molly rings. The block has also been prepped for the high volume oil pump. The timing cover housing is a factory housing and a Poston high volume oil pump kit has been installed. Spacer plate and new gears where included in the install. **** I also have the heads that came on the engine. They have been milled and are ready for any other machine work for your application. The ATI damper along with the flywheel are new. I also have a few missilanious items that will be included with the purchase. There is a crossover that will install on the back of the block to solve the oiling starvation problem with the cam. I also have a turbo 400 trans that's factory fresh. Along with valve covers and a few fasteners for the flywheel and the balancer. ** I believe this would be a great engine for a street or drag car depending on cam and heads combo. I crashed the car this was built for and I lost interest. I just don't have anything to use it in, so I figured I would let someone else find a home for it.
