Is it just me or does the Stage 1 fender emblem look crooked? Not that it’s a huge deal, just an observation.

Off topic but has anyone noticed that the Gran Sport sail panel emblems on 65 Skylark Gran Sports are crooked on about 20% of the cars? Most seem to be Fremont cars. Didn’t they use a template to install these?

    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

The smog pump was standard on all '72 455s regardless of the dealer location. The cars sold new in California had mandatory option E5 ($15) for Exhaust Emission System and received a different carb, intake, and an EGR valve on the back of the intake. Can't tell if this car is one of those or not from the photos and information provided.
