Straight, no kinks, dings or rust (always stored in my den), but the chrome is flawed. Sorry, pick-up only..... PRICE REDUCED: $200! BACKSTORY: I installed this re-chromed bumper on my Skylark for about 6 months while my original bumper was in the chrome shop. So, I know its straight, and fits like its supposed to. The chrome looks better than OE except..... 1 - The chrome cracked and chipped around four fastener holes in the lower area of the bumper when I installed it (the hole in each square tab and the hole located about five inches below the center of each taillight). These flaws are mostly hidden by the round heads of the bumper bolts so, unless someone stoops down to take a close look, they aren't noticeable. 2 - A small strip of chrome peeled off exposing the copper-nickel surface while I was removing the left-hand tail light opening impact strip. The exposed area measures about 3/8 wide by 7/8 long, extending up from one of the impact strip fastener holes. Its difficult to see in the bright sun, but is visible in subdued light. (Can be hidden by an AAA automobile club or new car dealer sticker.) See photo Rr Bumper 1972 Chip Zoom.jpg. So, I can either spend a lot of money on another strip and triple chrome plating operation or I can sell it as a very good driver-quality bumper for $200. Considering the cost and hassle of crating and shipping, and the potential for additional damage in-route, Im only offering it for pick-up here in Southern California at this time.
OK, I'll let it go for $200 cash (pick-up). That's a 20% reduction from my original asking price. Come and get it before I post it on e-bay and Craig's List.
