I have a nice set of seal plates that go on the underside of the 1972 GS hood. This is what the foam on the ram air breather pushes up to when you close the hood. They are a one year only part and in good shape 100 + the ride <a href="http://s1133.photobucket.com/albums/m595/ryansgsx/4sale/?action=view&current=IMG_0738.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m595/ryansgsx/4sale/IMG_0738.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://s1133.photobucket.com/albums/m595/ryansgsx/4sale/?action=view&current=IMG_0740.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m595/ryansgsx/4sale/IMG_0740.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Ryan The breather I have has the square foams. Are your plates for that style of breather. I have the 72 with a 455. Put me in line if they are correct. Thanks Leo
Leo if your car is a 1972 GS than your breather should look like this one <a href="http://s1133.photobucket.com/albums/m595/ryansgsx/4sale/?action=view&current=72buick35361-4.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/m595/ryansgsx/4sale/72buick35361-4.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Rob Ross, They are original. I have to go by board rules and let StratoBlue72 Then bizerre have first chance at these. I am not sure how long I have to wait for them to say yes or no on these. anyone know board rules on wait time? Jim, These are not from the hood I bought from you.
Ryan My car was an original 72 350 car. I built a 72 GSX clone with a 70 455 Stage 1 motor. The breather I have does not have the triangular right foam. Both of mine are the same square ones. Will the plates work with my breather? If they do I will take them if Strato Blue passes. Thanks Leo
