1972 GS 455 TCS solenoid .

I'm looking for a good used TCS solenoid for my 72 Quadrajet. NOS not necssary, but if that's all someone has and it's reasonable, I'd go that route . Mounts to the pass side of the carb, front bolt, 2 terminals. Thanks, Kevin.

From an old post, GM Part # 1114430. I'll keep researching the chassis manual.

 

Another avenue you might consider.
I found a broken TCS for my '71, however the bracket was reasonably clean.
Bracket was about the only difference in these things for a wide variety of cars.
I found a NOS TCS for a 6-cyl. Chev. & removed it from the metal bracket. Carefully opened my '71 Buick case & used it. Almost NOS.

 

There is one repo I think. Maybe for a Chev. Check www.lectriclimited.com under AUTOMOTIVE ELECTRICAL DEVICES

 

Thanks Jim. I think STRATOBLUE 72 had a few NOS, so unless he sold them all , or the $ is out of my range, I'll try that avenue. If that doesn't work , I'll be PMing Bruno. Plan "C" , I'll give that place a shot.:beer . If thats any indication how things are going, my car should be ready for storage in a few weeks.

 

We have NOS ones from him on our stage 1 convert and GSX.
