On your second pic near the steering box there’s a rubber hose coming out of the frame, that’s the fuel line. I’m not sure if yours is different however on my 69 I also have a return line, so I have two hoses coming out the frame

Yes, the rubber hose sticking out of the frame in pic#3 is the gas line.

This is the return line on my '72. It goes down and across the front crossmember following the brake line, and then down the passenger side frame rail. Retired in place.

If that's behind the Drivers top A arm, under the steering column shaft. Real close to driver exhaust manifold. That should be your tank vent line. Had a hose going from there to behind drivers headlamp. To charcoal canister. The fuel supply and return should be in the drivers side coming out a hole in the crossmember. Return line should be next to supply line to where crossmember is welded to the frame rail. Fuel supply line is 3/8", Return is 1/4" or 5/16",, I cant remember. They stick out a hole in cross member. They are very short also. So just look behind the steering box at crossmember.
I could be wrong. but think I'm correct. I have no idea why they would run anything to do with fuel that close to exhaust on the emission canister line?

There is no return line shown. U have a gas line to the pump from the tank & second line to the carb.

Yeah... agreed. It was early when I was searching for pics and got ahead of myself. IIRC, thats one vent of a few for '72. It also has the separator behind the back seat backrest, plus at least one atmosphere vent by the RR tire. The charcoal can was tied in with like 3 hoses no? I blew air into that tube and found it cut way in the back on the passenger side with a plug in the hose back to that separator or tank. It gets lost back there on the floor LOL. Doesnt matter anyway; my pump has an innie and an outie.

Ran new hoses at the tank when one was pouring gas on the ground after a first fill up. Actually had my daughter do it... The P.O. was a real Carnicero.
