Probably too good of a deal , they are asking for pay pal deposit only ? I have seen a few Buick GS stolen adds lately relisted with low prices. Could be a scam along with no phone number to contact just an email

I think it is the same text as when it was on ebay. What he is saying is that you can only use paypal for the deposit, not to pay for the entire car.

Sure seems like a good deal however as we've seen with a couple member's cars (@BYoung & @GranSportSedan and even the '71 350 4-sp.) even very nice '71-72 350's are not the most desirable but for a nice car to drive, take to local shows, etc. & just have fun with, they're a great value.

Thanks DBS. Still have mine and it’s still for sale but I pulled the ad on here because the thread just got too “busy”.

  8. yeah, for some reason the 71-72 Small block cars get very little respect no matter how nice they are. a 70 GS350 gets all kinds of attention.

Yes , I was thinking of a possible scam where they take multiple deposits and keep changing pay pal accounts ?

Yw. I hope somehow it's still inside. IIRC, there was a space issue when you got the new one.

I love both of your cars - My first GS was optioned almost identical to BYoungs with a different color scheme (Heritage Green/Black/Black. If I wasn't neck deep in other projects (two of which are 350 cars - '71 vert & '70 4-sp.)... I maybe, prolly should've stuck to plan A when I got back into all this and had sworn off projects and bought something like, if not one of these cars.

Can't touch anything in the '70-72 SS/442/GTO/GS range in that condition for anywhere near the money either of you guys are asking. They are really the hidden gems of the '70-72 era and awesome driving cars and anyone could be proud of either og these. Sad they haven't sold. One has a console, so can't blame that. The red one that was on here (orig. Cortez Gold IIRC) was a 4-sp. and IIRC right in the same $ range. Idk.

I hope with the new heads and some performance builds that the Buick 350's finally get some respect and the value of the cars starts reflecting reality. They are IMHO the the most underrated V-8's of the era and I'm excited to see what they can do.

Well, not exactly. But having gone through two frame off restorations, it is pretty much the same thing. LOL!

(If you can't do all the work yourself and don't pick the right car to have the restoration done on.)
