One last chance to save a 1972 Buick Electra 225 Coupe, only about 9,200 Coupes were made in 72. 88K miles shows on the odometer, motor runs perfect, TH400 shifts nice and crisp. The car is located in Buckeye, AZ, about 30 miles west of Phoenix. If not sold by the end of May, I will pull the motor, part out what I can and call the recycler for the rest.

Every problem that I know of:
    - Spot of paint missing on hood, but no rust.
    - Trim strip missing on right rear quarter panel, the new one is in the trunk.
    - Vinyl top is not in the best of shape, the AZ sun killed it.
    - Right rear window is off the track, the motor works OK.
    - Right rear marker light is in the trunk, but broken.

Fresh oil change, new plugs and wires. Grill is perfect, both bumpers are great. All the exterior chrome is excellent, NOT pitted at all. Even the fender skirts look and work great. No dents to be seen anywhere. A little buffing and this body would really shine just as is. Drives nice and straight, does not pull to either side if you let go of the steering wheel. Nice rust free AZ car.

    Compression test results:
    1 - 150 2 - 147
    3 - 148 4 - 140
    5 - 150 6 - 145
    7 - 150 8 - 150

    Asking $2000 OBO.

pimp this in the boat sub forum.

if it comes to the alternative of the crusher you might as well see if you can push this car off on a derby guy ... most of them yank the Buick engines and put in a chevy to derby with anyways.

Anybody willing to trade a good 70-72 455 for the entire car? It must be a good 455 and not on it's last leg.
