I am looking for the cable asm jumpers used in 1972. Apparently this is the change over year for internally regulated alternators vs externally regulated. In my assembly manual it shows 2 jumpers. 8908788 to hook up to the votage regulator connection. It has 4 prongs in dash format - - - - . 89008789 is the jumper that connects to the alternator. It changes the pattern of the connector from a 11 to a - -. It seems that they came both ways that year as my car currently has an external voltage regulator. If anyone could shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated. Ordered a new alternator 1102448 and the picture shows a 11 pattern for the connector which is different from the manual.

    Thanks,
    Mike
