Let me check the number I picked up a 455 this week that came out of a 72 riv. The engine was a 73, but it may have the 72 carb you're looking for. I will look at it asap.

Rjohns Hi Rich,I have only this number for 1972:2942.Dont jump for joy yet,because I know its a california 72 S-1 carb,but here is the bad news;whoever had it before me modified it.On the passenger side they took all the choke and brackets off.Also the primarychoke valve [the flapper]is taken off.I guess the person that had it begore me must have used it for racing.If you want to call me here is my #516-822-2214.BrunoD.
