I am going to buy a different car, I am going to sell my 1971 Skylark Custom and my winter car, the 62 Chevy II wagon. Right now we are talking about the Buick.
It was a 350 4 bbl car, now it is a 455, built about 14k miles ago and installed by the shop in Rancho Cucamonga run by Tim Lee. It has a KB cam, some port matching, ported and coated exhaust, an Edelbrock 800cfm QJ and Edelbrock manifold. It has Daves Small Body HEI, a four core radiator, Stainless Steel 2 1/2 " exhaust by MagnaFlow, new body mounts by Energy Suspension Systems, KYB shocks, new springs, new sway bars, balanced drive shaft with new U joints, rebuilt rear end with PowerTrax Posi and 3:08 gears. New ball joints and whatever in the front. Disk Brakes.
The car was painted less than a year ago, Kool Vanallia with Charcoal metalic stripes. Very nice paint job, two stage PPG paint. The interior was out, the jambs were done, it is a nice job. New chrome bumpers, door handles, some new trim. New tailights, perfect grill.
All new Carpet and interior by Year One installed by a shop close by,
new dash pad, rebuilt gages, Olds Four Spoke wheel with Buick Center Cap.
Authentic American TorqThrust wheels, 15x7 front and rear with one for the spare. Good BFG tires. These wheels are probably as old as the car. They are good looking wheels. I forgot, the 350 trans has been rebuilt and works great. It had air but I never put it back on, I have the parts in a box in the garage. I have had this car for five years, not a record for you people but it is for me. This IS a Nice Car.
I am asking 16k for this car, here are a couple pictures and if any one has any interest I can send them lots more.

    Thanks for any interest.

Motor shots, looks like I only have one that is small enough to download, it was taken before the new paint. I will have to take some new pictures.

    new 89 911

Just got this tonight, 89 911 with 44,447 miles. Really clean car. The tail was put on when they first got it. I will take it off very soon.
The white car is going to have to go.

    daylight with the new car

Here it is in the daylight, the topic at dinner is "what are you going to sell?"
It looks like both cars, so far I like this red toy. 44k miles on an 89. It is fun but not fast. Not at all like driving the Skylark.

I do like driving the 455 around, people just think it's a chevy and if they know Buicks think it's a 350. It is fun but I am really liking the new red car. Not as fast for sure but is a kick to drive. Someone should like/buy my Skylark.

I put the add in AutoTrader today, not sure when it comes out but the Nova wagon has been in a couple weeks and I put it on EBay today, had a lot of action from EBay on it.
I will try the Skylark in the AutoTrader for a few weeks though. Everyone on EBay wants to ship the Nova back east. What, is there a rust problem back there?
