Dan, The numbers on the trans were verified, and it is a "BS" TH400, so the car was definately a 71 455/non-stage automatic car. The "TO" on the protect-o-plate is a very common thing with 71 POP's, they almost never changed the engine codes, but made sure all the other info was correct. Go figure. I have copies of 71 455 & Stage 1's with "TO" protect-o-plates, and to be honest, when I see a correct 71 plate I am surprised. Duane
