Definitely right color combination. Hopefully all the critical numbers are correct. Need a little correct detail here a there other than that looks like a nice car. Good luck to the seller. Hopefully the markets stay strong.
Isn't this the same 71 GSX that has come up for sale numerous times in the past few years. If I recall correctly and if it is the same car there was some question regarding its authenticity as a Stage 1 car. It just looks so familiar with the high stance, lack of wheel opening mouldings and the red stripe rocker mouldings. I thought there was a long thread on the forum about the car and the results did not validate the Stage 1 claim at best and as a minimum it was not proven if it was in fact a real big block car. If I am in error, my apologies to the owner/seller.
FYI My 71GSX was delivered from the factory with red stripe rocker mouldings. The window sticker said black stripe rocker mouldings.
Only way to validate that car is a factory build sheet. If not, you have to go over to supposed vin number with a fine tooth comb. I also remember a gold GSX without wheel opening moldings for sale on and off the last couple years I believe at Mecum. If they’re claiming that one piece of paper, they posted in the picture is it documentations they are not fooling anybody who has knowledge of these cars.
