Hello I'm looking to purchase and electra, but I would prefer a limited, can anyone tell did they actually make a 71 limited? I have one lined up, but every limited that I seen previously was a 72, and I just wanted to make sure that the person didn't switch the front end. The car has the portholes on the front like a 71' and the louvered trunk lid, but then the emblems say "limited" and it has the plush limited interior. Exactly does anyone know how rare these are, or are they even rare? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
Wasn't the model year 1971 Limited trim package only available on the Electra 225 Custom, and not on the "regular" Electra 225 models ? The VIN should start with 48437 for the Electra 225 Custom 2 drs hardtop, and with 48439 for the Electra 225 Custom 4 drs hardtop :TU:
