I have been looking for Interior color charts for my 1971 Skylark Custom Convertible. I have found all the exterior color charts but would like to find the Interior color charts.

    any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks :Do No:

You can also google the Auto color library site. The chart is there under paint chips. Put in Buick and 1971 and both sides of the chart come up Then click on back and there is interrior chart. I could not copy and paste here for some reason.

Rob, Thanks for posting that. I have never seen a color chip chart of interior colors. If he wants correct interior paint I have used the PPG lacquer with good results. Perfect match to my saddle interior.

PERFECT guys just what I was looking for My Skylark custom convertible was originally Rosewood Body color and from your Info Saddle interior, I always thought it was Sandlewood but Mine was to dark but the Saddle seams to be the closets color off the charts.

Now anywhere that tells me if the Saddle came with the Rosewood exterior color??

The cowl tag will tell you what the original exterior and interior colors are.

OK where is that? Cowl Tag, I am missing a lot of tags because the previous owners changed body colors and did not do that great a Job.

You need to open the hood, and it will be on top of the firewall. It's a metal tag that is attached with two rivets. There are several numbers and letter codes on it...copy them and post the codes here so we can tell what colors you had from the factory. The tag is something like 2" x 4"

I have a brochure I believe available to the general public at the showrooms.
Shows interior colours & also a chart with interior/exterior factory colour recommendations.

My chart shows saddle is a recommended interior color for rosewood. And for the record the interior paint would be dark saddle...Also your cowl tag will most likely be 156 if split bench or 166 if buckets with saddle. Cowl tag looks like below

Interior code would be on the left side on the tag above the 03 in the tag I showed but not really visible here.
