This is in response to the posts in the ragtop forum. We have decided this is not the car for me to mod. It is available for sale. There are a few pics over in the just bought a 71 GS 455 with...... thread in the ragtop forum It is an UNMOLESTED nice driver that was originally Cortez gold but now white. Have Protect o plate, copies of prior owners' titles and the ENGINE AND TRANS are original to THIS car with all date codes unaltered and present to document this. ALSO on the cowl tag is is stamped SCO 526 which confirms this car came with the special interior. We bought this car for ice cream duty with the kids but had no idea of it's rarity. I was going to do a few mods to get it into the low or mid 13's but have chosen not to go forward with any molestation of the car based on good advice from many forum readers! The guys on this forum are an awesome bunch. I wish I could keep it but I'd be ruining it! We are in Crystal Lake IL 60012 The price is NEGOTIABLE!!!!
