I know this might belong in Sparky's Corner, but since my GSX is a resto, I thought I would ask here. Does anyone have any photos of the wiring harness used for the A/C idle control soleniod for a 1971 455? My original harness was butchered and the replacement harness does not have provisions for the idle solenoid. I have been told that it spices to the compressor clutch connector, and need to know what color the power source wire needs to be. And since I am asking, is the '72 harness which is readily available from M&H the same thing as the mid-year '71 harness? Thanks, Ken
I have a NOS set up, still in the box. Send me your e-mail & I'll scan it for you. The AC is not part of the circuit. It's basically an extension to the existing harness feeding the TCS on the carb.. Pink hot on ignition, another pink/tracer hot when in 3rd gear.
