The 350 fender emblems & (less so but still) aftermarket shift boot make me suspicious of the car's provenance.

Car is a factory 455 four speed.

Nice. Odd that it has 350 emblems. Seems like a decent car if truly "rust free."

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Perhaps the fenders were replaced with some 350 fenders? I can't even make out the incorrect part... LOL. Does it say "Buick Motor Division" on the 350 cars and "455" on the others?

It also wouldn't surprise me if the car came off the line w/the wrong emblems or even one of each. 455 & 350 use the same emblem holes (Stage 1 was different) plus bet. being a Freemont car & the '71 model year strike almost anything was poss. We know there were '73-4 GSs that came w/incorrect emblems.
