1971 Buick GS 455 for sale by owner - Blaine, WA - craigslist 1971 Buick GS 455, M-20 4 speed, 3.42 posi (extra 3.08 comes with it), build sheet, not original motor, no rust, all gauges work, 14x6 rally wheels, interior in great condition.
The 350 fender emblems & (less so but still) aftermarket shift boot make me suspicious of the car's provenance.
Perhaps the fenders were replaced with some 350 fenders? I can't even make out the incorrect part... LOL. Does it say "Buick Motor Division" on the 350 cars and "455" on the others?
It also wouldn't surprise me if the car came off the line w/the wrong emblems or even one of each. 455 & 350 use the same emblem holes (Stage 1 was different) plus bet. being a Freemont car & the '71 model year strike almost anything was poss. We know there were '73-4 GSs that came w/incorrect emblems.
