Does anyone reproduce Seat Covers for the Wildcat?

Check with Legendary and PUI. That is your only hope.

I just bought the original embossed seat material from smsautofabrics, took about two months but i am very happy with the material.

Do you guys still have both your arms and legs after paying SMS, or did it cost you one of each?

You think this is bad, should have seen the price for my 61 Catalina Interior from SMS! I have no Arms and Legs!!

You shouldn't be bitching about the cost. Without SMS, you wouldn't have anything. The places like PUI and Legendary can do kits for a lot less money because they only do a limited number of applications. They do the popular cars in the popular body styles, specializing in particular years and trim styles. Do they do 55 Desoto Firedomes? 57 Mercury Montclairs? 62 Studebaker Larks? NO, because at their prices it would not be possible because of limited appeal--they couldn't make any money at it! You will also notice that usually the repro guys only offer vinyl interiors, not cloth. They don't have the NOS cloths, and the only way they can do them is with cloth from SMS. With SMS you can get interiors for those oddities plus 100's more that PUI, Legendary and the others couldn't touch. They are in a VERY specialized business, and if you don't like paying the prices (which are not out of reason), then you need to buy one of the "popular" cars that have interiors available "off the shelf". You might equate this with NOS vs. reproduction parts. No company will reproduce lenses or moldings or whatever unless there's a large enough market to warrant the capital expense. Therefore, you need to search out the NOS item since that's your only choice. Same exact premise.
