    Stage 1 peak HP at 4700? I bet it was either detonating or running out of fuel......or both...or valves floating from tired original springs.
    I put some .030 shims on valve springs my orig Stage 1 and picked up almost .2 sec. and 2 mph.

    I thought peak Torque came in at 2800 rpm's?

    Or is that just another factory Ad ? Vet

    Torque was 2800, not HP.

    I never said HP.
    I read on the Dyno sheet, the Torque came in at higher than 2800 rpm's.
    Excuse me for not pointing that out. Vet

    Torque came in at 3400 rpm's.
    I had always read it came in at 2800 rpm's like you said.

    Over the years, I don't believe everything the factory advertises. Numbers get fudged all the time. Vet
