In Leduc Alberta, just outside Edmonton. I called and got the VIN, but it sounds like a consignment job and they had no documentation. He gave me the wrong VIN too (444670H113493) which doesn't make sense so I assume it is 446670H... "IF" this car was sold new in Canada, complete docs can be had through GM Historical services for about $40. Damn, and I was just in Leduc yesterday for hockey! It is about an hour drive for me, but if somebody was REAL serious, I might be able to check it out for you. http://www.canadatrader.com/result/detailinfo.aspx?ID=31527598&pgno=18&srt=4 Brian
I wondered about that, but my "Guide to Buick Gran Sports" doesn't breakdown the Specials or Skylarks. They want $50k for it better be at least a real GS455 car for that kind of dough.:spank: Brian
I actually had a look at this car in the beginning of Feb, still for sale... listed at $36900 now or something close to that. NOT A FACTORY STG1. It is quite possibly an original GS455 however, I didn't spend enough time there to find out for sure. Definately a nice looking car.. interior is pretty good, had speakers cut into the door panels (front/rear). Doubt its worth the price they're asking..
