Looks fairly, rough-missing a lot of parts including the primary throttle shaft and blades.But it may be restoreable.
Jude, I agree, it is in rough shape. From a restoration standpoint, isn't the most important part the numbers/date code? If I was in the market for one I'd DEFINITELY be bidding. Doesn't look like anything John Osborne couldn't remedy with a couple hours on his bench....
It is correctly coded for one of the cars I've got.One car is missing the original carb, the other is in bad shape - inlet threads stripped out, don't think there's enough meat to heil-coil. May bid on the carb.I will keep an eye on it. John lives not to far from here. He's really knowledgeable, when he speaks-I listen!!! :Smarty:
I figure it's worth going for. My car came with a '70 Rivi carb that is date code compatible, and might have been original to it. I would like to get a correct stage carb, though. Dan
