Holy cow! That thing is stunning. :eek2:

I'd like to buy it just for an excuse to go to FL (read warm) to pick it up.

This thing could bid up to one of the highest priced 1970 models I've seen sell if it makes reserve. I think 12k was the highest I've seen one go for. My guess is it won't meet reserve considering who is selling.

The engine compartment is really nice. Check out the the very functional A/C compressor (oil slinger) shield. Always thought those should have been a factory item. :pp

I wundered what that shield was, first time I have ever seen one !
Not too crazy about that subtle custom pin stripping - notice the ROA, and GSCA sticker on the windshield - it's a 'turnkey' keeper 4 sure !! :TU:

Ok, that is very nice. Sandpiper Beige too. I like the darker paint used on the inset of the sweepspear.
Has those horrible Uniroyal radials that were prone to belt separation. When did they quit making those? '82?

That looks nothing like the shield still attached to a compressor I have hanging in the garage.
    Maybe I'll use it. :idea2:

$15,701 for the 44k mi car. That should be encouraging to other 70 owners.

    Sure it is. :TU:
But, I think that kind of money should buy a largely untouched car.
Large Riviera emblems on the door panels, mix matched tires, pinstriping, the paint on the Sweepspear not matching the body color. (Though, I like it)
LED gauges, incorrect trunk material, etc.
Not ripping on the seller. They did very well. Lord knows my '70 isn't, and won't be perfect by any means.

    On a side note.
I remember the ROA, at least when I first joined in the mid 80's, had specific instructions for the placement of the club sticker. Centered at the bottom of the rear window.
Is that no longer true? :Do No:
