Sold! Can't believe I only got $40 bucks for this. It was nice and straight, only one small area of rust. The crappy Obamomy is hitting everyone in the pocket book I guess.:Do No:

    $40??

was the buyer wearing a mask? Holding a gun?

Is Jason on a road trip? :pp

Should have offered it for $200 shipped.. you would have sold it.. 70 supports are more valuable than the more common 71-2..

Next time you have one to sell, spend a few bucks having it sandblasted, and then paint it satin black.. will triple your chances of selling it at your asking price, which was not out of line.

Or better yet, just call me up.. I will buy every AZ 1970 core support in that condition or better, that you can find.. Only reason I don't own this one, is that I just saw this thread.

After looking at your pics again.. that was a 71/2 support.. it has the holes for the headlight bearings around the headlight buckets.. 70's don't have this.

The year of the core support is also stamped on it.. a 70 will have "ST70" stamped near the headlights, viewed from the front.. 71/2's have "ST71" stamped on them..

So it's not as bad as it could have been, if you had sold an actual 70 core support for $40..

I traded a 72 decklid for it, so wasn't out that much money. Thats why I was just asking for offers after it had been for sale on this board for 3 weeks with no interest. I was going to clean it up, but personally I like to see and buy items in their original condition, you can cover up alot of imperfections with spray paint and never be able to see them with pics on a website. I'll let you know next time I come across another one.
