found one in the trunk of a 1970 electra. it says regal on the tire and the size is j78/15. it still has the nipples on the tire from moulding. the rim is bad. would it be proper for my 75 park avenue as a show tire or should i sell it on ebay and what should i ask

The tires life expectancy was about five years. It is no good just based on the passage of time even if it was never used.

It would not be correct for your '75 Park Ave. By 1975, radial tires were standard across pretty much every Buick, with very few exceptions.

I would ebay it with a reserve of like $50 plus shipping...may even give it a shot over on the BCA board to see if you have any takers. Whatever you do, don't drive on it.
