Just got back from nostalgia drags/car show at Lebanon Valley, NY. Was approached about interest in buying a Saturn Yellow 70 GSX. The car is a non matching numbers Stage 1, 4 speed car needing restoration. Also has new sheet metal. Price range is $10-14,000 range. I know it is now, but how long has it been there? I had heard that the one was here for sale early this summer was shipped back east......
I think this one has a big block chevy in it. Someone called me a few months ago but he didn't know what he should ask for it. He never did get back to me. He really was in no rush to see it.
John, That's the one. He said it was a bank repo and someone put a Chevy big block in it. He also told me he found a 70/71? Stage 1 to be put in it. I don't know if actually made the swap.
The last time I spoke with him Ken he had everything scattered about. Some parts at his brothers house and so forth. He did have alot of NOS stuff supposedly. I guess it maybe worth a look to check it out since it is in your area.
