Not in line(yet) but I have questions. You have the “born with” numbers matching engine, transmission, and rear end. Do you also have the correct distributor and Carb? Thanks!
I will help out and jump in to answer this. David has the bare block that is numbers matching but we did not dig it out. David also has many other engines and parts. David stated he had one that was date code correct that parts could be taken off of. The numbers matching trans is gone but he has other transmissions that someone can use in the car. David says the rear is orig but we did not check the code. The original GSX Hood tach and mirrors were put on a different car and sold years ago. David has a repro hood tach and correct fit Buick GS sport mirrors from a 71 or 72 GS but someone will need to find date code glass to look 100% correct.
Frank, Thank you for your interest and patience with me !! Got the pictures of your Black car today ! Very Beautiful Awesome Car ! Best Regards, Dave
I was wondering if that was the one you wound up getting. I remembered you'd looked at it a few years back.
There are some things that would need to be addressed to prevent things from deteriorating any further.
With the Psychedelic 70 GS we felt like Wayne Carini in “Chasing Classic Cars” this time with this GSX Dave says it’s more like a episode of “American Pickers”
I have looked at a few basket case 70GSX’s over the years, and never knew what $$ to offer? Neither had numbers motor, one had the original transmission and rear end, the other didn’t. Both needed total restoration.
