1970 GS Stage 1 non-#s rust free cali car

    Well I have decided to sell my '70 Stage 1.
    here are the details:
    Real Stage 1 known by several references
    current '71 455 GS motor with T/A stage 2 heads
    stage 2 shorty headers
    T/A C110 cam
    new lifters
    new rings
    new bearings
    new timing set
    new HV oil pump
    Edelbrock Performer intake and quadrajet carb
    MSD distributor w/6AL box
    Interior is good but original and worn
    Chrome is very good but original as well
    Head light buckets are not original and are more pitted
    Body is very nice. No rust very clean. A little rust in the battery tray area and under the vinyl top at the rear window.
    No A/C or power windows or locks
    Has P/S and P/B
    Rear is a posi with 2.90 gears Jim Shiels has the original posi is you want to try and pry it out of his hands :Brow:
    Car is in storage but will be out this Saturday for more pics.

    $15000 with out motor and trans

    Woops that picture of the engine bay is before paint. It is painted. also the paint on the car is fair. There are a few dings and scratches. We can paint it if you like. But that will really raise the price of the car:Brow:

    you need to buy this car swap the motor and trani into yours and seel the body!!!!!

    you get a pass this time on the burn out. but when we have a cook out this sumer up here I want smoke!!!:3gears:

    Seems like I would need a loan just for the gas to get it there:shock: and then another to get me back home. It might be cheaper to have you come here and paint it :laugh:

    Nice car, living in the salt belt, it's sure impressive to see the brake/fuel lines, frame, floorboards, etc. in such nice shape.

    Funny, the engine bay didn't look like it needed to be painted.:TU: I've been looking to buy a C2 Corvette but now you have me very tempted.
