1970 GS nos frt. bumper and grill

I need a nos bumper and grill for a 1970 gs that was damaged during transport. If an NOS bumper is not possible, It needs to be arrow straight and perfect chrome. Thanks Jimbo

 

I posted that I have a grille for $800. I have NOS bumpers but I am not sure that is what you want. The NOS bumpers are never as good as a show chrome replate. Thr are 35 years old but were not as good as a show chrome replate the day they were built.

 

Send your bumper to Tri-City Plating in TN and they will make it like new. Cost is about $400

 

Closer to $450 now George plus the cost of the trip. Shipping Fed Ex plus packing will add another 1$50 or so. Also depends on how much and where his old one was bent as to what they can do.

Thanks for the info. Do they have a jig to make sure the bumper is straight before plating? The bumper appears to be pushed in about 1/4" and up about 3/8". I won't mind having the bumper rechromed but would hate to have it not line up like it should. Jim

 

I would be suprised if they have a jig. Call them and ask. I suspect they eyeball it.
