Hello Just bought a project in boxes, a 1970 GS in a million pieces. I have owned and restored Citroens, this is my first American classic. I have loved these Buicks since I was a kid old enough to know better and am excited to finally have one. I need help in many ways, I have a fiberglass hood but would prefer a metal one. I have 2 grills but they are in poor shape. So I need a decent front grill. I also need a center console, old was was thrown away when a B&M shifter was installed. Would like to get this lady back to her former glory. Any help, tips and prayers would be appreciated. Willem NorCal
parts the GS grill is reproduced by Parts Place they are talking about reproducing the GS hood but as of yet no word for sure.. Center console you can use a later model one but you will need to cut it to make it fit right that is if you cant find a 70-72 one I think you sould bookmark a few sites like these.... http://www.buickperformance.com (member here George N.) http://www.buicks.net (member here Unsure of the name) http://members.shaw.ca/ritc1/again.html (member here TimR) these sites will give you a welth of knowledge and help!!!! pull up a chair and read there stuff you will be glad these guys took there time to make life easier on many of us...
