Does anyone now where to get resto or repro arm rests bases and Pads? I have the longer 15 inch I think they are; and in Pearl White.

Not available. White seems to be worst...turns to chalk/powder/dust the fastest. Will need to get another set. They are also found in GM full size 2 door cars such as Olds 88/98, Impala/Caprice, Bonneville/Catalina, Electra/LeSabre.

the parts place has 18" chrome bases, do these fit 70 gs long arm rests? I didn't see the bases, I searched in new products.:)

No, those are for the 68 and earlier models.

You can get old ones rechormed at Mr G's in Texas. I had good luck with the pair I sent.

I bought a set of the 18' ones from the Parts Place and they were identical to the ones I replaced in my 1970 GS. I assumed those were the originals by the wear when I removed them. Cost was $79/pair. They don't show a part number on my invoice and I don't have a link to page.

    Good luck,
    Tom

Yes--I remember a thread a while back in the Vendor or Repro section mentioning they were making them for the 70 cars and wanted to check. Thanks
