As have many folks, I have been looking for a 70 GS 455 or Stage 1 car for some time now. I want one in outstanding condition....where I can take it to shows and enjoy driving. It's a long story, but if anyone has one they are thinking of selling I am willing to purchase. I need to do this soon, as I am running out of time......... My email address is tmmm454@aol.com. Or my number is 919.522.4260. Thanks Tom
Not sure its for sale......... Actually, that is my car and i haven't really considered selling it. It's a total frame-off, no's matching stage 1/four speed car.....less than 68k miles (documented actual) Appreciate the compliment though. John
Juan's car looks exactly like John's car in that picture, but is an automatic instead of a 4 speed, and it's a GS455 not a Stage car. It is a VERY nice car however. JH
no, don't think so, but won't swear to it.... this came out of the OK area(?), then to MN and fluffed there. JH
It looks nice, but I can't square 102K miles with no restoration at all except the exhaust system, a respray, and a couple other minor things. Something doesn't add up for me. It sure looks solid though, and a good candidate.
It says the engine has been rebuilt as well Mike. The original engine has been rebuilt to factory stock specs. It has its original carb, exaust manifolds, aircleaner, valve covers, etc. Approximately 50+ Dealer receipts for all the warranty work and maintenance from the original dealer Looks pretty darn good to me!
All I can say is 4 spd and clean ! Any guesses as to the reserve . I am thinking it will be high 40's after reading the owners coments on other muscle car prices . It is easy to pick apart a car thats been driven and is 35 years old . The front bumper is twisted on the drivers side . I do not like the add on tach.
Was this car owned by a guy in Columbia Heights, MN? If so I know that car and it is VERY NICE!!!!! I always wanted that car.
gold 4speed The car was bought new by a guy in Tampa Fl. "I spent a few hours with him" It was painted a few years back after a front end a collision. My time period with the car is a couple of years back. The car was painted, the hood and grill replaced, maby a fender and a front bumper. Original drive train. No under carriage work. The interior was original and the miles were correct. The tack was installed years ago by the orignial owner. It sort of dates the car. If anyone has questions I will help if I can.
It's Listed Under Cars For Sale I don't know if your still looking but I just listed my 1970 GS 455 in the forsale section.....Chris
