Chris had posted one similar, but it didn't have the front end on it....this may be the same car but not sure: https://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/d/1970-buick-gs-455/6419052555.html
Is this what they call a 200 footer Car? It looks good from 200 feet away. Looks like he was taking pictures from the Neighbors house. Ridiculous! May be he was on house arrest and he had to keep one foot inside the door with his ankle bracelet on....
Sure doesn't seem like it anymore......Used to get decent pics and descriptions....now it's like a bunch of millennials are trying to sell everything for their parents and grandparents.
Sure, make sure the pics are blurry, pictures of pictures, pics of stuffed animals, pics of the wrong car, plenty of no engine pics, make sure all trash is in car, All Buick's are "Grand" Sports or GSX's. Sound about right? lol
Brand-new engine that is numbers-matching? Matching....what? Itself? Love the white Krylon on the master cylinder & power booster, that was a special one-off...please...
My absolute favorite ad type are the ones with someone's chewed up greasy thumb in front of the camera blocking the license plate! Totally reeks class! Yesssssss think of the car thieve patiently waiting to run the tags and steal some of those jewels! I'll never forget my buddy who NEVER took the keys out of his Ford Granada just PRAYING someone would steal the thing! He had to FLOOR it everytime we drove it to get above the speed of the violent steering wheel earthquake! Soooooooooo niiiiiiiice lol
The funny thing about all that is: You can't get someone's address by running a license plate....unless you're a police officer. You can't just call up the court house and ask for the address of a specific license plate number. That would be waaaaaaaay too easy stalkers and all kinds of nut jobs to show up where they're not supposed to be. Dunno who started the whole block the license plate thing, but I wish it'd go away.
EXACTLY Lucas! Probably started by the same people afraid to use bank drivethru canisters "because you never know where those things could go!"
I sold my 14 Challenger and 72 Skylark on Craigslist extremely quick, not because I priced them low; I actually priced them about 2-3k over what I knew them to be worth, but my write up and pictures were good. People don't think it adds to the listing, straight don't care, or are just dumb, but it has a huge impact on how people perceive your car. Then again, I have a lot of experience with selling items on eBay/Craigslist/etc. It's just not that hard to try and take pictures like you see dealer pictures or at the very least copy the stock description of the car from the manufactures website (in this case just do a quick google search).
