As the cold weather approaches, another old bear cries out to be saved.....this one's fully documented as well.... Winter Project
Wasn't this one on ebay a while back? seems like someone posted on here that they had looked at it and it turned out to be pretty rusty...o No:
Don't tempt me .............. ou: Chris if I even bid on it , It will be a very Cold winter !ou: I will leave this one to the younger guys ! But it's in Illinois !!!!ou: ou: ou: ou: :gt: :TU: :gt:
Looks like it is all there and well optioned. Sad thing is it will probrably get parted out because it is "just a 350 car".
Could someone "please" borrow me the money. I would love to have that for a summer driver. Half the fun of building the GS is putting together the sheet metal. Plus the factory Air & Cruise options make this an excellent going fast with class Buick.
Based upon the way his ad is written and pictures posted, he is very proud of his "$2,000" grille. I am surprised he isn't advertising it as a "grille" for sale with a free car attached!
It is really a shame that the 350 cars get parted. I enjoy mine every bit as much as the 455. You get one of the best looking muscle cars ever for 1/2 the price of the big block car. This car definately needs someone to save it, when was the last time you saw a GS with cruise?
I would love to have a big block but sure can't afford one. Especially not a 4 speed convertible. This car needs work but I have seen much worse go for more $$$. If I had a place to keep it..........man subdivisions with small garages suck.
Rob, I never did hear back from you on whether you were interested in the 67 GS..... Also, did you sell your 65? What about the Chebbie?
That sounds like the same thing my wife said when I mentioned I might sell the 69 to buy a 70. She said, just buy the 70 and keep the 69 as well. What a great woman! Sounds like your wife is the same, since you are looking for another car. I didn't buy the 67, the owner was going to ship it back to Ohio. Chris
cruise control well, i just came from the garge, so ill say about a minute ago! BTW: does anybody know how many convertibles had cruise in '71?
Engine????? in 1970 there was a few diferent 350 motors one had 10.25 : 1 comp. is this identified by the vin ???? or by the code on the block ??? just wondering and this is a dead ringer for my first GS I do miss it so it was a 3spd and a lot of fun I did not care that it was just a 350 it was a blast!!!!!!!!!!!
