    WickedWay Got Torque?

    1970 Buick Skylark, $4,000.
Runs and drives, drove it down from Michigan a couple months ago. Needs radiator support patches. Over $2,000 worth of new parts installed, not including radiator. Car is located in Spur, Texas aprox 70 miles east of Lubbock. Fly in and drive it home.

2 door hardtop, 350-2 w/ 350 automatic trans. Odometer reads 45,000 but motor has been rebuilt. Not sure how many miles since rebuild. Strong runner, recently drove it from Michigan to Texas. Black primer exterior (needs to be sanded back down and painted, has surface rust), black interior. Car is mechanically sound. Possibly the origional motor, cant find numbers to confirm.

New parts include: Radiator, waterpump, radiator hoses, upper balljoints, outer tie-rods, rebuilt carburator, headlights, windshield, drum brakes all around, master cylinder, fuel pump, headlight switch, battery, trunk pan, rear coil springs, 2&1/4 dual exhaust, and much more!

Car is not perfect, it does need some work. Would make an excellent driving, or frame off restoration. Exterior body is straight, only minor surface rust. Has two small dings on the passenger side, body shop quoted me $100 to remove and prime both before I moved to Texas.

The bad: Exterior body has light surface rust. I have all chrome except for the rear wheel well mouldings, and rear window trim. Needs all new hood, door, and trunk seals. Needs driverside manifold gasket replaced (may be able to do it before it's picked up at no additional charge.) Needs repair pannels for the driver and passenger side radiator support, rotted out at the body mount. Accidently broke the small chrome plastic trim ring when replacing the headlight switch.. switch is there, just hanging from the wires under the dash. Interor is not perfect, and rear frame rails beside the trunk were weak when I replaced the trunkpan, so they've been supported with 1/4 inch steel.

Car needs to go, make an offer. Would rather sell it to someone who will do something with it than have someone part it out. Will include a new wiring harness, and possibly some new wheels pending on the offer.
