My last question is you state in your auction that you have invested over $80,000 in the car, and in your last post you say you have around $35,000 into it. Which one is it?

    Jim,

If you want it that much you should try to buy it, why would an auction change your thinking? If you question Fitzer, email him and ask him, maybe he will talk to you. I was not going to let the auction run with only him knowning the reserve, I dropped to reserve so everyone might get excited about knowing just where they stood and what it would take. I did it to peak your interest, not kill it. I guess I live and learn.

    Andrew,

I state the car cost over 80k to build, I did not build it, most people know that this is Frank Urbinati's car, I should have been more specific. Sorry. I now have around $34,600 in it. I think we both know that what I have in it will probably not effect the price, I just wanted to be open with other board members to keep it friendly. Once again live and learn, it appears that being open is not making anyone happier. :spank: Judging by the tone of your question, and your last post here, you have some animosity building for me or the car. If I am wrong, I apologise, If I am right, what's up? To me it sounds like you are not interested in buying it, but rather discrediting it. Lets just leave it be, sorry for the confusion. Have a great weekend! :TU:

not trying to offend ANYONE by the way :TU:

    Kyle,
There is no hatred here. This forum is open discussion, and asking for an explanation on the way that auction ended is very legitimate if you watched it closely with serious interest as I did. The "Cars for Sale" forum has rules that try to prevent this, but the "Ebay Parts and Cars" forum doesn't. I feel if a board member lists his car on Ebay, and it becomes a topic in this forum, then questions about the auction (or the car) should be open for discussion. I hope that doesn't translate into hatred, but rather clarification.

    Jim,

Have you ever put a GS deluxe interior in a car? If so could I pm or post some questions. I pulled mine out yesterday and I want to make sure I do the new one correctly. I see you have a few of them and thought you might be able/willing to help. Thanks, Bill :beer

    Bill,
I've never converted a Standard interior to a Deluxe interior, but I have converted a bech seat interior to buckets. It requires two brackets to be welded to the floor pan on each side for the seat tracks to be bolted down. Good luck - post some pics when finished!!

    Thanks Jim,
My car is an original bucket seat GS so the brackets are there. I just wondered how you handled your door panels and rear lower panels with arm rests. I will call Legendary today and try to get some ideas. Have a good one!
